well, I had previously spoken with someone with the state of Michigan, who stated since I operate more as a foster home than a kennel, I could adopt out dogs.
​You have to understand my sense of trust is gone with anyone in the state of Michigan with any type of authority. I will meet the requirements before I start adopting again.



Also, recent insurance quotes have went through the roof. For the last two months, I have been searching for a policy to cover adopting dogs. So compromise I’ve had to dwindle what I would like covered to try to make it affordable.
A policy just to cover adoptions only, is at a range of $800-$1200 per month. I put over $1000 into each dog adopted with an adopt adoption price of $350. I would lose money drastic amounts every month trying to make that insurance payment.
​I keep there is an insurance company out there that actually has a heart for rescue and decides to not bankrupt us in the process.
