Improvements Needed at SCMR
1. Update Kennels. All kennels need new metal gates 4ft x6 ft. I have 30 kennels.
2. 7 kennels need outdoor runs added. That will be 7 heavy duty gates, 16 panels, dirt to level outdoor area, fencing to create a dig proof barrier on the ground and will wrap to the top. Need 75ft fencing. Need 8 dog doors size XL.
3.Need 30 outdoor dog cots for kennel use in summer hours.
4. Need to re-do interior barns. So, plywood, insulation, FRP board to line kennels and walls to allow for sanitizing.
5. Epoxy floor in my basement where dog crates are
6. Adding fencing to more of my property. The school bus will need to be stored on the lower half of my property due to my house being on a hill. It slides and has the ability to become stuck where I have been parking. That means on more 16ft gate to be added and fencing. I am very cautious now of dogs possibly getting out so when loading into Thomas it needs to be done in a fenced in area.

8. Exterior needs re-done on one barn kennel. It's rotting and falling apart. Would love to hire my dad as he deserves payment for as much work as he provides the rescue.
9. Re-do 1,000ft of perimeter fencing. Was damaged in many sections from last year's ice storm. Also, need to add height to make it 2 ft taller. I live on a hill and have large field in front of my house. It picks up wind and creates 4-6ft snow drifts in my yard. My current 8 ft high fence drifts to be unsafe for the dogs. I close off that area for the winter and allow access to the smaller fenced in yard until spring. Plan for that is to add 5 ft PVC post to existing t-post and attach 4 ft fencing.
10. Need a Maytag ringer washer for summer. Outdoor use old style to save on electric from washing so much laundry. Add a workhorse pulley clothes drying system. Keeps laundry out of reach of dogs when air drying.
11. Meat chickens and turkeys for raise throughout the summer and fall to feed the dogs.
