Zoey came to SCMR from a local rescue. She was struggling with shelter life and nobody was adopting her. Zoey was given away by her owner to someone due to she was moving. Well, in true husky fashion she escaped the new owner and almost drown in a pond where she was rescued by police. Her first owner then took her back, had her 15 minutes of fame on the news and turned around and surrendered Zoey.
