Blue November Sponsorship
Blue came to me from a shelter in the lower part of Michigan. Blue is a purebred husky and he just kept ending up being adopted to homes that people did not understand his husky behavior. Blue spent a long time at the shelter and due to behaviors he presented with there, they deemed him rescue only or euthanasia. Well, we have all been running over capacity for some time and I was the only rescue to respond to behavioral husky. Blue had a special group of volunteers in his corner rooting for him and they reached out to me. So, I drove to meet this unruly husky and he was just a young adolescent male husky who wanted out. While in my care he showed resource guarding to high value objects. He has improved 1,000%, but will never be an adoptable dog, so he’s a sanctuary dog.
