Arlo came to me during the onset of COVID. He also came to me just a couple weeks shy of me losing the greatest dog I’ll ever know, Arlo was sold to someone and had managed to escape within 24hours. While on the run, Arlo acted from his husky prey drive instincts and got himself in trouble. It was due to COVID happening that Arlo is alive. The courts shut down and could not make a ruling on his fate, buying him some time. Arlo was there for around 5 months. The AC officer stood up for him and asked if she found him a safe place, he could live and the judge agreed. Arlo came to me before I was a non-profit so he was never getting adopted out. Arlo has the highest level of fear of any dog I have brought to SCMR. He has made leaps and bounds, is one of my main leaders and he kept me going after losing Malakai.
