Lana was a transfer from a rescue in Texas where he was transported with Micah as well. Texas is in a state of being overwhelmed with unwanted dogs and they are a being euthanized daily. To help make room at their rescue, the two of them came to SCMR. I did not have an adoption program setup at the time of their arrival, so they were instantly sanctuary dogs. Lana and Micah also came from Rain’s rescue in Texas, Redstone Husky Rescue.
