Collaboration Husky Coffee Company
We have an amazing collaboration that is ongoing with the Husky Coffee Company. 15% of all sales will come back to the dogs at SCMR. Use the link below to shop around to help support us.
Supplies we use and where funds go
We use:
approximately 30 bags of 40lb chicken and rice dog food from Costco each month (I do have Victor on our Amazon Wishlist too)
approximately 18 cases of canned food (On Amazon Wishlist but I will also purchase at Costco)
approximately 2 10lb boxes of Honest Kitchen and one 7lb senior honest kitchen (On Amazon Wishlist)
approximately 8 bags of Solid Gold Low fat dog food 24lbs (On Amazon Wishlist)
23 doses of K9 Advantix II over 55lbs (I buy at Costco)
14 doses of K9 Advantix II 21lbs-55lbs (I buy at Costco)
U-Turn, Morello, and Sound use Milbeguard vs me dosing Ivermectin each month for heart worm prevention due to they have herding breed genetics. That is approximately $72/6 doses.
35 Fi GPS collars at $20/month. (some subscriptions I have paid for a 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year policy. It just depends on funds available. Guess work is around $700/month for Fi dog collars)
Katori, Donte, Tucker, Atlas all are on prescription meds each month at approximately $100
Everyone also gets hip/joint each day. I use Coseuqin or Dasuquin. Whichever is available. It is more affordable to purchase Cosequin from Costco. We would need approximately 14 bottles of Cosequin per month. (On Amazon Wishlist)
Fish Oil-Unscented (on our Amazon Wishlist) I use approximately 5 bottles per month.
Electric bill runs $450-$600/month. I try to split between the dogs, myself, and Barkery.
Annual Vet Exam Costs:
Office call fee $70
Rabies vaccine at the vet $40
I vaccinate DHLPP and bordatella annually which is $30 total per dog.
I send out fecal samples which runs $6.00 per sample
Heartworm test $55
Bloodwork at vet $150. I only do this on specific dogs on chronic pain meds, thyroid meds, or Frey who has elevated amylase and lipase requiring her low fat diet. If I can afford everyone to annual lab work, I will.
